My thoughts on this image

With good visibility, you can see the Elbe Sandstone Mountains from many locations in Dresden. Of course, the observation towers are among the best places to take pictures. The Bismarcksäule observation tower in Dresden-Räcknitz offers views over the entire Elbe valley and up to the heights of the Eastern Ore Mountains (Osterzgebirge).
